Once you’ve had experience running experiments through the web app, the next step is to automate your experiments. With the Gremlin API, you can perform actions in Gremlin through a REST-based API. This makes it easy to initiate attacks from another application (such as a CI/CD service) and automate your experiments.
To create an API key, we’ll open the Gremlin web app and navigate to the team settings page, then click the API Keys tab. If we have an API key that we want to reuse, we can click on the copy icon next to the key’s name in the API key list to copy the key to our clipboard:
First, we’ll log into the Gremlin web app and create a new attack by clicking Attacks in the left nav bar, then click New Attack. We’ll select our host as the target, expand Choose a Gremlin, select Resource, then select CPU. We’ll change the length to 120 and set the CPU Capacity to 100.
This header includes a token that we need in order to authenticate with Gremlin. There are two ways to obtain an authorization token: either by authenticating as our Gremlin user by using our Gremlin credentials, or by creating an API key. We’ll look at both methods. To log in using user credentials, we'll run the following command in a terminal.

In Gremlin nodes are referred to as “Vertexes”. To add a node/vertex to the graph, you simply use the command addV() on your graph traversal source. For consistency, most people use “g” as their default graph traversal source. To append properties to your your vertex, you add a series of “.

To create a new edge between two vertices, use the addEdge(v1, v2, label) method. The edge will be created with the label specified. In the example below two vertices are created and assigned to a variable (Gremlin is based on Groovy), then an edge is created between them.

Gremlin is a graph traversal language and virtual machine developed by Apache TinkerPop of the Apache Software Foundation. Gremlin works for both OLTP-based graph databases as well as OLAP-based graph processors.
Part 1: Set up a EC2 proxy server. Launch an Amazon EC2 instance located in the same region as your Neptune cluster . In terms of configuration, Ubuntu can be used. Since this is a proxy server, you can choose the lowest resource settings. Make sure the EC2 instance is in the same VPC group as your Neptune cluster.
Gremlin Server provides a way to remotely execute Gremlin against one or more Apache TinkerPop-enabled graph instances hosted within it. Connect to Gremlin Server in a variety of different ways including: Gremlin Language Variants - when writing Gremlin in a native programming language like, Java, Python, .

Gamification is an emerging trend in the eLearning industry and takes the engagement level of your program to another level. When you guarantee fun, people are bound to engage better with your content, isn’t it? That’s exactly the underlying motive behind gamification.
Information overdose is the biggest enemy of eLearning programs and is sure to get you flak. The key to keep your readers interested is by making your course relevant. Your goal should be to leave them with a meaningful experience and make it worth their time.
An easy way to make online courses more engaging is to stimulate the student visually. This means pictures and videos. The simplest method of using picture and videos in an online course would be constructing your online class more like a PowerPoint presentation:
The target audience is the group of people to whom you are writing your course.
One of the most important components of creating an online course is setting a learning goal for the course . However, there’s more to it. Every online course consists of various sections, and each individual section also needs to have a clear learning goal.
It’s crucial that you decide on a specific course subject in the beginning phase of creating your online course. Be as specific as possible.
Contrary to popular belief, the process of creating online courses doesn’t require a large chunk of money. If you know what you are doing, you can develop profitable online courses at no cost whatsoever. Creating successful online courses is like building powerful magnets.
That being said, you don’t need to create all of the content for your online course before you start selling it. It’s always better to start off with a smaller batch of content, as this will allow you to take in feedback from your students and make improvements accordingly.
Examples of online course marketplaces include Udemy, Lynda, and SkillShare. Third-party hosted platforms are platforms that allow you to create, manage, and market your ecourses in a single place on a site that’s hosted outside of your website.
The components of the perfect ecourse topic is the intersection of your knowledge, your passion, and your audience’s problem. Not to state the obvious, but you need to be well-versed in the topic you’re going to teach your audience.
When you’re comfortable that you’ve made that ecourse the best it can be, then you can create a slightly more complicated ecourse, say 4 to 6 hours long, costing $500 or less.
Obviously, for an entirely written course, you’ll have to have written content. Plus, you’ll need to write the additional materials you’re going to provide your students anyway. It’s going to seem like a monumental task, and it can be, depending on the scope of your ecourse.
However, video can be a bit demanding in terms of how difficult it is to produce. You’ll have to have a script to follow so that the flow of information goes smoothly.
It’s tempting to start with a bang, so to speak, and go all out on your very first ecourse. After all, this is an ecourse that will change people’s lives, right?
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.
You don’t just need an idea, you need a profitable idea. That’s because it’s not just about creating a course. It’s about creating ecourses that will be profitable. And that takes a bit more than just a great idea.
But remember, it’s about the combination of these three things, not just about your audience or about you and what you’re passionate about. And simply knowing how to do something, such as baking, that does not necessarily mean you have to create an ecourse on it.
Do you already have a service that you offer? Some of your best ecourse ideas are likely to come from putting together a service which you already offer, and then converting that into a course.
A good place to start is to think about needs. First, consider the needs of the people who’ve asked you to create the eLearning course. This should be done to make sure that a course is actually necessary to achieve their goal. Sometimes it’s best not to create a course at all.
The first thing beginners usually mix up is content and platform. A platform is also called Learning Management System (LMS), Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and other names.
Ok, we have now covered what an LMS (platform) is and how to select it if you need to, and, to be honest, in 9 cases out of 10, your organization already will have an LMS (platform), be it Moodle or any other, so you can manage users, and see their progress.
So, the question was how to develop e-learning more affordably, faster and allow non-technical developers to participate in the process? Welcome to the world of authoring tools.
Before we go further I wanted to clarify one more thing regarding e-learning content – Responsive courses. What the heck is that? Well, it’s quite easy actually. Historically, I mean 10-15 years ago, when we were developing e-learning content for usage on computers only, everything was very simple.
Returning to our discussion on how to build e-learning, building from scratch sounded fun, if you are a techie, using authoring tools, much easier, but still quite a lot of effort.
Once you know how your eLearning course will be produced and where it will be hosted, it’s time to start working on content.
