Ben Shapiro won on style. He was calm and collected throughout. He stuck to his talking points and debated very effectively. Ben also made some very compelling points: he brought up very legitimate concerns about the current US healthcare system and the major drawbacks of socialized healthcare. Both Cenk and Ben were very defensive in the debate and focused more on defending their own positions rather than attacking the positions (particularly Cenk). Cenk narrowly beat Shapiro on healthcare. Shapiro poorly rebutted Cenk’s point when he said the US was ranked no. 37 in the world on healthcare.
Cenk held his own decently, and that's to say he held up far better than I thought he would. The first half he traded blow for blow with Ben, but slipping into the second half he just fell apart and Ben swept the pieces.
