CSU Fully Online (also known as CSU Course Match) provides an opportunity for eligible matriculated students to enroll in one course per term offered by another CSU campus. Graduates of California high schools and other California residents: 2.5 GPA or greater in college preparatory subjects, AND 3,200 minimum “CSULB Index” to be considered, for non-STEM major and a 3,600 minimum “STEM Index” for STEM majors. Academic Disqualification occurs when a student who has been placed on academic probation did not raise their CSULB GPA or Overall GPA to a 2.0 or better, and as such results in dismissal from CSULB. This can happen after one or two semesters on academic probation. Students can appeal their disqualification.

Undergraduate students may repeat 28 units over their entire CSULB undergraduate career, of which 16 units maximum can be for grade forgiveness, in which the grade in the first attempt is excluded from the GPA. Students may repeat courses only if a D, F, WU, or NC was earned. The course must be repeated at CSULB.
Credit/No Credit Options To enroll in a class on a CR/NC basis, the student must register for the class and then submit a request to change their grading option to CR/NC (refer to Grade Option Change Requests for instructions). Approval of the student's major advisor is required.
