It takes about 32 hours to complete according to GRI, and that's probably about how long it took me. I might have tried to speed it up, but the course sessions are all videos, so you pretty much have to sit through them. It consists of 5 separate sub-courses, with a bunch of study modules included in each one.

Each state will have its own requirements. If it is a timed state, you will be required to be in the course for the required amount of hours. For example, if it is a 3 hour course, you will be required to be in the course for 3 hours. Please check with your state agency or Student Support.
