An Arrogant Attitude Leads to Judgment. You read that right. Arrogance, pride, egos — they will be judged by God. This is an attitude some have with God on a regular basis. All of us, I believe, have come to God with a chip on our shoulder more than once.
Coming to God with an arrogant attitude doesn’t necessarily mean we’re angry at God and pointing our fingers at him. Arrogance can be seen when we come to God convinced that he’ll answer according to our desires, expecting God to bow to our wishes.

Paul gave this instruction so that "whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel" ( Philippians 1:27 ). No matter what unexpected disruptions, frustrations, or difficulties come our way, we are to respond with a Christlike attitude. We should be standing firm and striving for the faith. Paul later writes, “Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ” ( Philippians 2:5 ). He is talking about demonstrating humility and selflessness in relationships. He also encourages us in Ephesians 5:1 to be “imitators of Christ as dearly beloved children.” As children love to imitate what they see and repeat what they hear; we also are charged to imitate and model Christ’s behavior and to be clear reflections of the Lord ( Matthew 5:16 ).

When we use God’s blessings wisely, we can – and should – enjoy them abundantly, keeping in mind the brevity of life and assigning an appropriate value to the blessing.
Thought #3. God stresses over and over that though He wants mankind to prosper and all blessings come from Him, there are distinct dangers associated with money. As society has changed through. the years, money has become more and more a symbol of status, power, prestige, and security.
But the point for today is quite simply – blessings, yes, all good things (including monetary and material blessings) come from God (James 1:17). In fact, it is safe to say: “God wants us to prosper.”. God would have us know that material blessings are “not all there is to life” (Proverbs 13:7). Let’s face it.
No, de spite Jesus’ admonition to the crowd that indeed “it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:23) the key as to why is actually found in a parallel account of the encounter.
