In total, an intensive course comprises 80 lessons (one lesson = 45 minutes), in Frankfurt 75 lessons, which, depending on the course, are spread over 10 to 16 course days. That means you are attending class for approx. 2 to 3 weeks and have on average 5 lessons per course day.
If you have the entire day for yourself, you can attain B1 German even in 2 months by studying 6 to 7 hours a day. This will add up to 400 hours in 2 months. I know it's highly improbable for study so long but it's just an example that you can finish B1 German in 2 months too.
German language is not so hard and also interesting language. Grammar makes you sometimes confused, but with practice this problem can be solved too. Getting B1 level is not so hard. B1 has only more grammar and more vocabulary.
