As students register for classes through Online Services, they can add themselves to a waitlist when a course is full. They are added on a first-come, first-served basis, and the list is capped at eight students.
Sign in to MyACC with your ACCeID and password. To the left side, click the Admissions & Records button. In the drop down arrow, click View Unofficial Transcript. The Grades page will appear showing you the Grades for the semester.

Being put on the waitlist means a student is a competitive candidate, but colleges are trying to admit well-rounded classes and predict who will ultimately enroll, which may mean prioritizing students based on major choices or a desirable quality they bring to the school.
How to Waitlist a ClassSelect Student Planning. On the next screen select Go to Plan & Schedule.Search for your class on the top right. ... Find the section you need and select Add Section to Schedule, then click Add Section to Schedule again to confirm.
Students can use the waitlist feature when a class is full and a waitlist option is available. Students are allowed to be waitlisted for a maximum of 8 units in any given semester. All waitlists are processed through CUNYfirst on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only grades of C or better in a course can be converted to P (Pass). Grades of D and F may be converted to NP (No-Pass). All courses for which students receive passing (P) grades will count toward ACC degree requirements, which may override some departmental or college policies.

Clear any Student Holds that may prevent you from registering. Visit the My Status and Holds page on the MyACC - Students portal to view any holds that you may have.

You may withdraw, or drop, from a 16-week course or from the college with a grade of W any time on or before the end of the 12th class week in the fall or spring 16-week session. Shorter semesters have prorated drop dates.
If you drop a course after the census date, a grade will be included on your transcript.
Dropping or withdrawing from a course can have serious consequences that affect your financial aid, veterans’ benefits, or international student status. Consult with your instructor or advisor before dropping a class.
You may withdraw from a course prior to the withdrawal date. Until you are officially withdrawn, your name remains on the class roll and you may receive a grade of F for the course.
