How long will this take?

We work in eight-week sessions. However, this does not mean you will be done in eight weeks. It all depends on your skill level, attendance and most of all on your commitment. Some students complete the program in weeks, others may take years. Don’t worry – we will be with you every step of the way.

If you are 16 or 17, you must bring in your Underage Permission Form signed by the Superintendent of Schools from your last school of attendance before you can participate in our program.

In addition, examinees write an essay on a topic about which they are expected to have general knowledge. 3 Language Arts – Reading The GED Language Arts Reading Test will test how well you understand selections from different types of literature — such as fiction, poetry, and drama — and from nonfiction — such as nonfiction prose and documents commonly found in the workplace or community. 4 Science - Biology, earth science, physics and chemistry are the areas included in this test. 5 Social Studies - This test contains items drawn from history, economics, political science, geography and the behavioral sciences.
