In most aggregations, any item or category can be made extra credit by clicking the checkbox in the Extra Credit column. If your course already has an Extra Credit category, you can move activities to that category to make them extra credit rather than checking the box for the assignment itself. Adding assignments from your Sapling Learning course creates a link to those assignments in your Moodle course and allows grades for those assignments to sync with the Moodle gradebook. We recommend you add at least one link to your course using this method. Students will be able to click on the link to enroll in your Sapling Learning course.

The way in which the individual activity scores are summed or averaged to give the overall score is called the aggregation. The aggregation for the gradebook (and each subcategory, if applicable) can be one of the following options.
