Real Estate Law 30 Hours. This is the 30 hour course that is required for all agents that are renewing their license for the very first time. New York State passed a law increasing the education requirement for a salesperson's license from a 45 hour course to a 75 hour course, effective July 1, 2008. The 30 Hour Remedial Gap Course is necessary to "bridge the gap" to meet the new 75 hour course requirement needed as of July 1, 2008. This course will satisfy the additional 30 hours now needed to apply for a NYS real estate license.

Real Estate Express allows you six months from your registration date to access and complete your course. In states with multiple courses, students receive six months for each course. The timer starts over at six months for each new course within the required education.
