Is your articulate course not working in your LMS?

Thankfully, when you use Articulate software to author an e-learning course, publishing it to a learning management system (LMS) is really easy. But sometimes, your course doesn’t behave as expected in your LMS.

Will my articulate 360 or storyline 3 course work without flash?

The good news is that Articulate 360 and Storyline 3 were architected without Flash dependencies, so these apps continue to work since Adobe discontinued Flash. Your published courses will also continue to work if they include HTML5 output.

Why can't I play Flash content on my articulate app?

Microsoft won't allow the Flash Player to operate on supported versions of Windows, and web browsers won't run Flash content. Here's how the end of Flash affects your Articulate apps and courses.

What happens when you exit a course?

You exit the course. You resume the course and pick up where you left off. You exit the course again on a different slide. You launch the course again, but it takes you to the slide you were on when you met the tracking requirement and exited the course. Or, it takes you back to the beginning of the course.

Security restrictions in some modern web browsers prevent windows from closing themselves, so the exit trigger won't always close the browser window. However, it will work if the course is launched in a separate browser tab or window. Configure your Storyline player to launch in a new window. Here's how:

What is the difference between articulation and phonological disorders?

In case some of you might be wondering, the main difference between articulation and phonological disorders is that phonological disorders involve patterns of errors. They might leave out ending sounds in words or shorten words or say sounds in the wrong place in their mouths (i.e. t/k, d/g). Does Storyline 360 work with Internet Explorer 11?

HTML5 courses that you published with Storyline 360, Storyline 3, and Studio 360 will continue to work in Internet Explorer 11. Older versions of Internet Explorer won’t be supported when Flash retires. Find all of our supported browsers here:

Does Studio 09 work in other browsers?

However, it won’t work reliably in other browsers. (Studio ‘09 doesn’t publish HTML5 output.) We recommend that you upgrade to Storyline 3 or Articulate 360 (which includes both Storyline 360 and Studio 360) as these apps don’t have any Flash dependencies and their HTML5 output works in all major browsers.

Does HTML5 work in published courses?

Your published courses will continue to work if they include HTML5 output. Web browsers will simply ignore the Flash content and display the HTML5 version instead.

When do you have to republish a course to HTML5?

However, if you have Flash-only courses, you’ll need to republish them to HTML5 before December 31, 2020 for them to continue working.

Can you publish a storyline project to HTML5?
