Course changes are not unusual, especially with Planned courses, as schedules may overlap or a class is not offered. Students do lie; that's the reality. Whether they get caught or not, unfortunately, is where there is discrepancy. It's really hard to flag an application for lying when there's no specific reason to.

ACT & SAT: UC will not consider SAT or ACT test scores when making admissions decisions or awarding Regents and Chancellor’s scholarships. If you choose to submit test scores as part of your application, they may be used to determine your eligibility for the California statewide admissions guarantee, as an alternative method of fulfilling minimum requirements for eligibility or for course placement after you enroll.

The CSU uses self-reported coursework to calculate an overall GPA and to determine admission eligibility. Failure to report all coursework completed may adversely affect admission eligibility and could result in a denial decision.
Upper division transfer applicants with 60 or more semester college credits are not required to have a high school diploma or equivalent. If you attended a high school but did not graduate, enter the high school and dates of attendance. Then select “I Didn’t Graduate from High School”.
Transfer credit entry is not required for international institutions. Applicants are not able to designate GE credit for international credit. The GE tile will be checked off stating you opted not to add any General Education courses for applicants with only international credit to report.
After you hit the big SUBMIT button, your job isn’t over. Every week or so you should log into CASPA to check your application’s progress. CASPA will tell you if your application hits a snag of some kind, and if it does, you can fix it quickly to avoid delays.
