A “Waiver of a course” means that the faculty accepts prior work by the student was satisfactory to meet a program course requirement. The waiver excuses the student from taking the required course, but does not lessen the credits required for graduation.
You can see a copy of your transcript any time you wish upon request. The waiver merely allows the school to send the transcript to the college directly.
The Course Waiver Request form is used in five different circumstances: When a student is attempting to register for a course for which they have not completed the required prerequisites, they need to complete and have signed the Course Waiver Request form.
