six different coursesThe co-op campaign is set after the events of Portal 2's single player campaign. In it, the two testing androids ATLAS and P-body of the Cooperative Testing Initiative carry out a series of tests in six different courses, each consisting of about eight or nine chambers.

The single-player game can take six to 10 hours to play, and the co-op campaign is at least five hours long. This standalone campaign stars a duo of robots called Atlas and P-Body who have to work together to solve all the puzzles, each with his own Portal gun.
Portal 2 features a separate two-player co-operative campaign, playable over the internet, and new gameplay features include physics-changing paint.
Portal 2 has usually larger builds with the detailing making it look interesting and not boring. Puzzles are composed of more complex logic without too many objectives. Thanks, Gemarakup.
Portal 2 is the sequel (obviously) to Portal, a sleeper hit released in 2007 by Valve Software. It was released as part of The Orange Box, a compilation of new and old Valve games, anchored by their franchise Half Life series.

The Cooperative Testing Initiative, or simply co-op, is a multi-player gamemode and campaign in Portal 2 whereby two players can join up and take part in test courses built specifically for cooperative testing.
In the events of the second game, Glados discovers she is Caroline (basically) and that Chell was her daughter. She becomes more protective and loving torwards Chell. At the end of the game, she says that she deletes Caroline.
At the beginning of Portal 2, she is woken up for the first time after 50 days of sleep after the events of the Lab Rat comic, for a mandatory set of physical and mental exercises.
Finally, here's the cold hard truth: Valve doesn't need to make Portal 3 because the fans are keeping the franchise alive without them.
At the beginning of Portal 2, she is woken up for the first time after 50 days of sleep after the events of the Lab Rat comic, for a mandatory set of physical and mental exercises.
Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating SystemGLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System) is a fictional artificially superintelligent computer system from the video game series Portal.
The game has 9 chapters total.
Now for using all the portals without touching the ground. One player opens a portal on the ground and puts the 2nd one close to it. Jump into it from some height to gain momentum. There are 2 ways to continue: either be fast and replace the portals with your own as the non-jumping player passes through them, or place 2 portals close to the previous ones so that the jumping player can reach all 4 without touching the floor in between. If done right, the achievement for doing that should unlock:
Drop your co-op partner in goo while they are gesturing by removing the bridge under them
On the first stage, right before the end, make sure to do your high-five gesture ( ANY gesture will suffice!) in the camera to go toward "Asking for Trouble". Usually at the end of the first chamber in each stage there is a camera to gesture at. Keep that in mind.
Solve 3 co-op chambers in the Mass and Velocity course in under 60 seconds each
Having a second profile for the "Professor Portal" achievement is also HIGHLY recommended, but actually isn't needed . First off the game starts in a little video sequence where you see both players being attacked (yeah, you don't play as humans).
Now Professor Portal requires you to play Calibration Course online with a friend who hasn't played before. That means they have to have never played co-op AND have to be on your friends list. They cannot have completed Calibration Course or have been in any chambers. It must be done online, split-screen doesn't count. Also, you must have beaten the coop and been awarded You Saved Science. If all of those requirements have been met congrats:
