Type in at least the first three letters of your school name. If there are multiple instructors teaching with this book at your school, you can type in the instructor's name to filter the results even further. When you're done filling in the fields, click Search. When you've found your instructor's course, click Join LaunchPad.
On the LaunchPad homepage of the Macmillan catalog, click Instructors - Find Your Course. Enter your author's last name or your product's title. At the bottom of the screen, enter your e-mail address and click Get Access. Note: The box to request instructor access is not available for all titles.
Your password will be e-mailed to you. If you have already requested access to a product with Macmillan in the past and your information is in our system, then you will automatically be granted access to your LaunchPad product and you will see the screen below. Click Proceed to the website.
If TAs or co-instructors already have an account, then Faculty Services can grant them access to the instructor of record's LaunchPad course immediately.
An access code is printed inside each card. If your instructor decides to require a book and premium media as course materials, he or she usually chooses to package those materials together to save students money. This access card is often shrink-wrapped with the book in your school's bookstore or sold by itself.
To sign in, students must find the LaunchPad course/e-book their instructor has set up, or use an instructorless course by clicking the "find a launchpad course" button below. (Note that any work done in an instructorless course cannot be moved to another course.)
You access Launchpad through your Canvas course, but you MUST purchase an access code for LaunchPad through the SCC bookstore or other sellers. NOTE: you may see "discounted" access codes available for sale:these are used codes that cannot be used by another student. Purchase only from a reputable vendor.

If you are using a parent course, make sure to create your assignments in that course.
To avoid confusion during the enrollment process, make sure that each of your LaunchPad courses is titled using the following convention: Course Number- Section Number Days/Times of the Week - Term Year – Instructor Name. For example: Econ 101- Section 4 MWF 10am -11 am- Fall 2019- Treadway.
Every course that you create has a unique course ID. This holds true whether you create a course from scratch, copy a course from another course, or branch a course from a parent course. When you direct your students to enroll in your course, you should give them the entire course URL, which contains the ID as a string of numbers at the end.
From your course home page, select Switch/Create Courses from the top right under your name.
The menu will either be located vertically on the left side of your screen, or horizontally across the top. The images below demonstrate the difference.
The LaunchPad table of contents appears in the center of your screen in the vertical alignment. Click the arrow to the left of each chapter title to view the contents of a chapter and its sections.

Your course creation starts on the Course Content page. You'll find it's easy to discover features and complete actions.
Students select a file title to download it. Supported file types include DOC, DOCX, HTM, HTML, MP3, MPG, PDF, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, RTF, TXT, ZIP, and most image types.
Add goals and standards. You and your institution can use goals to measure student achievement across programs and curriculums. After you successfully upload a file to your course, you can align one or multiple goals. Students won't be able to see the goals you align with a file.
You can make your course private while you add or experiment with content, and then open it to students when you're ready. Students see private courses in their course lists, but they can't access them. You can change your course from private to open on the Course Content page.
You can change the language at a user level:
