One of the best ways to do some Chemistry Regents review is to take a couple of official practice tests, which you can find on the New York State of Education site. These are real, previously administered exams, so you know you’ll be getting the most accurate and realistic test-taking practice possible when you use these.
The Regents exams measure your achievement in school. In order to graduate from high school in New York state, you’ll need to pass five Regents exams: English Language Arts, a math, a science, a social studies, and any additional Regents exam or another option approved by the State.
The questions focus on the provided Chemistry Regents Reference Tables (more on these tables in a bit), graphing, and laboratory experiments. Part C has approximately 15 short answer questions that are broken down into smaller parts.
In chemistry, a reagent (/riˈeɪdʒənt/ ree-AY-jənt) or analytical reagent is a substance or compound added to a system to cause a chemical reaction, or test if one occurs. The terms reactant and reagent are often used interchangeably, but reactant specifies a substance consumed in the course of a chemical reaction.
Chemistry is hard. If there are concepts you find particularly difficult, don't be shy about asking your chemistry teacher or a professional chemistry tutor to help you. Search out a good tutor plenty of time before the Chemistry Regents Exam for the most benefit.

3-hourOverview of the Chemistry Regents Test The Chemistry Regents exam is a 3-hour long test which has 3 parts: Part A - Multiple Choice Select the one best answer for each question. Part A tests basic knowledge and comprehension of the core chemistry concepts.
The score you get on the Chemistry regents might be lower than your actually score due to a negative curve. Here's how and why they are doing this. They had to dumb down the test because such a large percentage of kids wouldn't PASS it. This results in a large number of kids at the upper end getting very high grades.
85 questionsThe Chemistry Regents is divided into three parts that test-takers will have three hours to complete. This exam contains 85 questions in total. A multiple-choice question offers four possible answers from which you choose the one that best answers the question or completes the statement.
What happens if you fail a Regents exam? Please do not worry if you fail your Regents Algebra 1 exam! You will typically get another chance to retake the exam. Every year, the Algebra 1 Regents exam is administered in three months: August, January, and June.
The test consists of 24 multiple choice questions and 13 open-ended questions. Here's the amazing part, it's possible to pass Algebra I Regents Exam by only answering the multiple choice questions and getting less than 65% of them correct.

English. The English regents exam is administered in 11th grade after a student has three years of English instruction. The exam is given in two individual three-hour parts and covers critical analysis, listening and reading comprehension. Students must also write an essay.
