Course Development Support

New Temporary Quest Courses: A Quest course development stipend is provided to faculty who develop a new "temporary" Quest course that is taught Spring 2023. How many hours do you need to get into UF?

A maximum of 60 hours from a state or community college may count towards your UF degree.

How many credits do you need to be a resident at UF?

The residency requirement means that your last 30 credits/hours towards your degree must be completed through UF. If you are applying for transient study in a Summer and intend to graduate that Fall or perhaps that following Spring, transient study may not be a good option.

Additionally, No changes will be made to course sites after the drop/add period. We will not separate or combine courses after the Drop/add period because once students submit work those submissions will be removed from the course when the student is moved to a new course site. However, if the Registrar creates a new section, we can add those new sections to the specified course site.
