The Department of World Languages offers classes in a diverse range of world languages: Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. Our faculty possess extensive experience teaching languages with specialized degrees in their discipline from prestigious universities.

What will I learn?

The courses in the Department of World Languages are taught with an emphasis on the four skills: speaking, reading, writing, and listening, as well as an overall encompassing presentation of culture within the Hispanic world.

What can I do with this course of study?

Students that have graduated from SAC with a focus in languages are able to transfer into four-year universities having completed their foreign language requirements.
