What is the best way (format) to import questions into Moodle from Canvas? When I export the questions from Canvas, they all come down as . xml files. Is there any hope of getting these into Moodle somehow?
Can you attach an example XML file? I've never used Canvas. I don't know what sort of XML it outputs.
Which is a nice change from the horrible proprietary locked up stuff that has populated the world of software for so long. Good on Canvas from Instructure.
Thanks, Marcus. So....how should I go about importing these questions? assuming it is possible?
I suspect someone is going to have to write some code. You need to find out what type of questions they are, so for example if they are all multiple choice then the programming will not be too complex.
Well, just because something is a standard, that does not prevent it from being 'horrible' I am afraid. That particular XML file only servers to re-enforce my opinion of QTI.
I don't really agree with your statement that moving to IMSQTI v1.2.1 would be " a nice change from the horrible proprietary locked up stuff that has populated the world of software for so long."
