Here is how to delete courses on Moodle:
Select the Category the course was created in and then select the course you want to delete. In the panel on the right, (it usually is on the right), use the delete icon, the X, to the right of the course name, follow the prompts and say OK to everything. That should delete it.
Note: Only users with the reset course capability (by default managers and teachers) can reset a course. Resetting a given activity is irreversible, so ensure that you have taken a Backup of your area including the user data - this is a snapshot and can be reinstated if necessary In your area's Administration block, click on Reset
Return to your area and check that things are as you want them. (Before you reset) You will need to make sure that you back up the information that you have within your course before you reset.

Re: Instructions for Deleting Moodle Account What they can do (but you have to manage this manually yourself) is go to their profile and in the Privacy and Policies section, click Delete my account - this sends a message to the admin (or Privacy officer if you have one) who then has to manually delete the account.

On your Courses page in Blackboard, click the three dots next to a course and choose Hide Course. If you would like to unhide your course, click the Filter menu and choose "Hidden from me." Click the three dots next to a course and choose "Show Course."

I am a graduate student using Moodle for my classes. I accidentally enrolled in the wrong class; can I remove that course from "My Course?" or remove myself from that course?

When you back up the course make sure that you back it up with the user information. That way you will have a back up data on the ones that have taken your course before you reset it for another group or department.
