Sep 11, 2009 · A Course in Miracles teaches that there is no sin, so the “Jesus” it teaches is not the Jesus in the Bible. 2 Timothy 4:3 says that men will gather around teachers who say “what their itching ears want to hear.” Satan deceives with this salve of no sin, and universal atonement. But it is not truth.
The teachings of A Course in Miracles contradict Holy Scripture, Tradition, and Authentic Catholic Teaching; claiming that: Jesus was NOT God, the devil does not exist, and there’s no such thing as evil, or sin—especially original sin, as the Course teaches that man’s fall from Grace in the Garden of Eden never happened— (preface, pg. xiii) and that Holy Scripture cannot be trusted, …

The purpose of time, which is forgiveness, was given by the Holy Spirit in answer to the ego's purpose of time, which is guilt. His emphasis is therefore on the only aspect of time that can extend to the infinite, for now is the closest approximation of eternity that this world offers.

Forgiveness can be a gift to yourself or to others, it may be something you receive, but it can also be a quality that describes a relationship where one must be capable of self-forgiveness in order to forgive others.
The Course’s Definition. Before we can understand the 3 step process for forgiving yourself, it’s important that we take a moment to consider how A Course in Miracles defines forgiveness, and what, exactly, it means to forgive. Fortunately, ACIM provides a clear definition of forgiveness:
Forgiveness is one of the fundamental teachings of A Course in Miracles. It is a theme that emerges consistently throughout the course, but how, exactly, can you learn to forgive?
In the third step of forgiveness, you let go of your problem and turn the solution over to God, or universal energy. This surrender happens instantly, as soon as you allow it to (by completing steps 1 and 2). In other words: when you are truly ready to forgive, All Is Forgiven. If anger, frustration, or hatred is a response to some action that needs forgiveness, then one must understand that these emotions are not real. They represent not a sin, in the traditional sense of the word, but rather a lack of awareness of unconditional love. Forgiveness, then, is the process of coming back to unconditional love.
A Course in Miracles is the name of a book that was written by a channeled spirit, who claimed to be Jesus. Described as “spiritual psychotherapy”, it’s been widely promoted by Oprah, and as of January 2008, she now has Marianne Williamson, the Course’s leading spokesperson, teaching this “Course” on her world-wide XM radio show.
The Course teaches that sin and guilt are not real, and therefore, neither are any of their “seeming effects”. Marianne Williamson believes that A Course in Miracles can, and does generate real and lasting peace.
A Course in Miracles shines the light of greater awareness on guilt and, step by step, gently but firmly, dismantles this joy-killer. Every day, find more and more reasons for your innocence, and you’ll be well on the road to freedom.
It can touch me not’. The only place the yesteryear lives is in your mind. The events that occurred matter less than how you think about them now. We’ve all made mistakes. What we do with them determines our current experience. If you keep going over your mistake s, they rule your life. If you bless them for their teachings and find ways to look at them that bring you peace, they become your friend.

Every thought you think, word you speak, and action you take proceeds from either your true nature or a distorted illusion. Innocence and guilt, peace and upset, healing and illness all spring from that one fundamental choice. At various times during the day, especially if you become upset or you face a challenging situation or decision, ...
When you are at peace with yourself, you uplift everyone you meet by the energy you express. Keep choosing in harmony with your joy, and you will attract success for yourself and stimulate others to achieve theirs.
When you judge others, you become susceptible to judgements, both your own and theirs. When you release others from the burden of your opinions, you release yourself. Consider one person you’ve criticised, and identify the trait or action from which you formed an opinion of them.
1 It’s not natural. No human being, or any living thing, is born with guilt. It is a learnt response; passed down from generation to generation like a dark, heavy, ill-fitting cloak. Innocence, freedom and inner peace are our natural state. All else – especially guilt – is an anomaly to our true essence. Deep enduring happiness abides within you, ...
A Course in Miracles is a complete self-study spiritual thought system that teaches that the way to universal love and peace–or remembering God–is by undoing guilt through forgiving others, healing our relationships and making them holy. - Foundation for Inner Peace.
2. “Miracles enable you to heal the sick and raise the dead because you made sickness and death yourself, and can therefore abolish both. You are a miracle, capable of creating in the likeness of your Creator. Everything else is your own nightmare, and does not exist. Only the creations of light are real.”.
The eternal, unbounded Person Who is the Creator of all that is real, and Who is the goal of all desire. God is pure Mind, pure Spirit, and is only Love; there is no anger or attack in Him. According to the Course, God did not create the physical world.
The Course teaches that we only expect to be attacked because we secretly believe that we are sinful and thus deserving of attack. Fear is the essential mood of the ego.
The painful emotion that stems from believing that you have sinned and have thus corrupted your being, making yourself worthy of punishment and unworthy of love. The Course teaches that this belief is false, for your true nature as God’s holy Son is incorruptible.
The activity of the Holy Spirit which shifts our perception from the false to true and thereby grants an unconditional, instantaneous, and free deliverance from the imprisoning (yet illusory) problems of this world. We accept miracles into our own minds, extend them to others (which is the primary meaning of the world in the Course), and thereby recognise that we have received them.
The extension of God; God’s one Son and one creation; the single Self that is shared by all minds, all of whom are equal members of the Sonship. Does not refer to Jesus, who is simply one of these members, one who has fully awakened to our shared Identity as Christ.
