Answer: Once you are logged in to CalCentral, go to My Toolbox. Under My Toolbox, you will see a View As section, sometimes called a “card.” Enter the student's user ID and click submit. The student’s information will populate. You will then be able to view information as the student views it on their screen.

Undergraduates: A course load of 15 units per semester is considered a normal undergraduate course load, and you are expected to enroll in at least 15 units. Graduate Students: A course load of 12 units per semester is considered a normal, full-time graduate course load.
Go to "Profile" in CalCentral to view and update contact information and preferred name. View GPA, college, units, and standing. Under the "Semester" section, view past, current, and upcoming classes and grades; order transcripts and books; and calculate GPA.
Go to CalCentral > My Academics > Class Enrollment > Class Enrollment.

Faculty members can correct grades directly in CalCentral. Note that all grades except an I or an IP are considered final and can only be changed when there has been a computational or procedural error in the original assignment of a grade. Continuing students who submit transfer credit during their Berkeley career should expect posting of credit within two to four weeks once the transcript is received by UC Berkeley, and is scanned in our student system.
Students withdraw for many reasons: to work, recover from an illness, attend to personal business, or find their true academic direction.
Academic Progress Report (APR) The Academic Progress Report or APR is a report used by multiple levels of the University responsible for assigning the requirements you need to complete to earn your bachelor’s degree. You can use this to track your degree progress. including your current term coursework.
Cal Student Central does not review transcripts. This is handled by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Central Evaluation Unit, college evaluators, and occasionally major advisers. Visit ASSIST.org to obtain information on all requirements.
This option is only available to students with active CalCentral access. The University does not charge for transcripts. However, there is a special processing fee of $10 (plus shipping) if you want them sent express or need us to enclose a form with your transcripts.
In Person – Transcripts can be hand-delivered to 120 Sproul, Cal Student Central. They must be in a sealed envelope from the transfer institution to be accepted. Only single copy international transcript originals, with an official seal, can be accepted without an envelope.
Summer 2021 course equivalency office hours will begin on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 and will end on Friday, August 13, 2021. Assessment results may take up to one week.
Math 49 is not a course students en roll into via CalCentral. Math 49 allows students to earn supplementary units to complete course material when course equivalency from another institution is only partial.
UC Berkeley offers two official verification instruments: Student Self-Service Enrollment Verification. Official Verification of Attendance and Degrees.
For diplomas, you must provide a photocopy to notarize. The processing fee is $15 per document for this service. We make arrangements to have documents notarized twice a month during the first and third week of each month.
There is no fee for the University’s standard Letter of Good Standing. However, if you wish the University to complete and certify a third-party form in lieu of the standard letter, there is a fee of $10 per form. Please submit the request form at least two weeks ahead of your deadline.
If you need an Apostille for a document notarized by the Office of the Registrar, please visit the California Secretary of State for information and instruction. An Apostille is likely not necessary for students eligible for the certified electronic diploma (beginning with Spring 2020 graduates).
UC Berkeley has contracted with the National Student Clearinghouse, a nonprofit organization serving the higher education community, to verify the attendance and degrees of UC Berkeley students and alumni for all employers, service providers, and other third parties (not affiliated with UC Berkeley).
Common sections include lecture, discussion, lab, studio, and seminar. If a course has more than one type of section, you will need to select both during enrollment. Also see Switching related sections.
Upper division courses, more advanced with some enrollment restrictions or prerequisites, are in the 100 range. Graduate courses, typically limited to graduate students, are in the 200 range.
