All educational institutions have refund policies in place if something happens that prevents the student from completing the studies.
Each institution that places courses online has some policy about refunding tuition and fees associated with that course.
Unfortunately, with so many colleges, universities, and non-traditional educational institutions out there, there is no single policy that covers all of them.
If you do not meet the deadline for a full refund, check your school's policy and see if they will give you a percentage refund of tuition based on how far into the semester you went.
As you can see, there is no universal refund policy for online courses. Instead, you must read your school's policies on dropping classes and refunds before signing up.
The Consumer Contracts Regulations stipulate that you have 14 days from entering into a service contract to cancel the agreement, granted that you purchased the course online or via phone. This provision applies to courses conducted in person or remotely.
The course you booked online falls under a leisure activity if you attend a class with other people on a specific date. If that’s the case, the course is excluded from cancellation rights unless it is defined otherwise by the course provider.
Whether for refunds from online courses or wrongly sold goods and services, Consumer Reclaim will fight for you until you get the compensation you deserve. They have a no-win, no-fee policy wherein they only get paid until clients get their reimbursement.

The first step is to complete the request form to Become a Peer Reviewer. Before you begin reviewing courses here at FSU, you will need to complete the Applying the Quality Matters Rubric workshop. This workshop is offered in both online and face-to-face formats by certified trainers in the Department of Instructional Design and Technology.
