To explore the course offerings available to you on all campuses, log in to OASIS. From the Main Menu, click on Student, then click on Registration. To search for courses, click on Class Schedule Search. Select the term you want to register for from the drop-down menu, then click Submit.
The new Maymester Session at the University of South Florida (USF) provides interested students the opportunity to complete a three-credit-hour course in a fully-online, accelerated format.
2. Adhere to the following conditions: a. A limitation of three grade forgiveness of USF courses with no more than one repeat per course.
You can take classes at any USF campus. You may want to consider searching all campuses to see if your course is available elsewhere, especially if you are interested in taking the course online.

USF's Grade Forgiveness policy permits Undergraduate and Non-Degree students only to repeat a course and have the repeated grade and hours earned computed in his/her GPA in place of the original grade and hours earned, providing the repeat grade is “D” or higher (exception – see Honors at Graduation).
When Grade Forgiveness is applied to a student's record, the grade earned during the first attempt of the course is no longer factored in to the student's GPA but it will still appear on the student's transcript. In other words, the new grade replaces the old grade in the calculation of a student's GPA.
A 3.8 cumulative high school GPA (as calculated by USF)AND. an SAT minimum score of 1300 (critical reading and math only) with a minimum critical reading score of 580 OR an ACT Composite score of 29 with a minimum English score of 29.
As a college counselor, you stay busy all year, so using your time wisely is important. However, between the phone ringing, sessions with students, and meetings, finding the time to organize yourself may seem fleeting.
While many high schools have their students take semester exams before the break, depending on your school’s schedule, your students might take their exams after the winter break. In this case, students will need to stay sharp and study for their exams during the break.
Because college counselors help many students through the college admissions process, they typically work some during their winter break. This work might include writing letters of recommendation, reminder emails, or timelines.
As you know, the last semester of the year is busy and packed with activities, exams, deadlines, and preparation. You’ll have sophomores preparing for junior year, and juniors preparing for senior year. You’ll also have your current seniors preparing for graduation and going away to college.

Congratulations! You were an early decision or early action applicant and your favorite college has already graced your inbox with the holiday gift of a yes email. Enjoy a sigh of relief and a well-deserved celebration. And then get yourself focused again on a few follow-up items for your final winter break as a high schooler.
The key to bearing the wait until schools get back to you after the break (or maybe not until spring break) is keeping your priorities in order. And your top priority is getting into college. If you’re truly a basket case over break, you can add some safety schools to your list and send off additional applications, just in case.

Has anyone had any experience with this? This past semester was really hard for me, I was really struggling to keep the motivation to continue my classes and ended up failing 2/3 i was taking.
For the fall 2020 semester, all essential housing support (EHS) residents are eligible to apply for winter EHS, and, if approved, would be permitted to remain in their fall rooms.
Yes . If you are in the Martin-Baro Scholars program or any other special living community not in the approved Winter Break Housing halls, there will be a special process for requesting Winter Break Housing after students have been assigned to their academic year space.
