You can pay your tuition and fees online through your MyBC account or in person at the cashier's office. You can also view available payment plan options via the cashier's office website.

Fully online courses are those which have no face to face contact. In most cases, full or total online courses have no in-class time, everything from viewing lectures, participating in discussions, submitting assignments and quizzes usually done online.
Supplemental courses are those which have 100% face to face contact. Typically only course resources are available online, everything else takes place in the classroom.
Hybrid courses are those which have some face to face contact. Typically these courses offer a lab component and request attendance for lectures and other activities on campus. Everything else, participating in discussions, submitting assignments, and quizzes are typically done online.
Brazosport College uses the Texas Common Course Numbering System in support of efforts to enhance the transferability of credit throughout the state system of colleges and universities.
Some courses offered by Brazosport College require college level skill codes in math, reading and writing. Students who are certificate seeking, as documented in the student record, are not required to meet these requirements. Skill codes are enforced for all degree seeking students.

Brazosport College participates in the Virtual College of Texas (VCT), a consortium of Texas community colleges for sharing Internet courses. Tuition and fees for courses taken for credit through the Virtual College of Texas are the same one would pay for similar courses at Brazosport College. Credit for VCT courses is shown on the Brazosport College transcript. Not every course that is listed on the state schedule will be available to Brazosport College students. Consult the VCT web site, then contact the Brazosport College Distance Education at 979-230-3368 for more information regarding Virtual College of Texas enrollment.

The Brazosport College Board of Regents has approved the following core curriculum consistent with the framework and exemplary educational objectives as specified by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Courses in the Brazosport College Core Curriculum provide students the opportunity to achieve the following core curriculum objectives:
Students who complete the Brazosport College Core are eligible to receive the Core Completion Certificate. Students apply for the certificate at www.brazosport.edu/graduation. The award is posted on the Brazosport College transcript to clearly indicate Core Completion to transfer institutions.
A final examination will be given in each course at the end of each semester. Exceptions to this policy are by permission of the Vice President, Academic and Student Affairs only. Other examinations in each course will be administered as outlined in the approved course syllabus.
Students who fail to complete the requirements of a course for a justifiable reason such as illness will receive a grade of incomplete, or “I.” Before submitting a grade of incomplete, the student and instructor must sign an agreement describing work to be completed, the deadline for completion, and the result if the work is not completed.
A student who desires to improve a grade received in a course may retake the course. When students repeat a course, the last grade received, with the exception of a “W” (withdrawal) grade, is the permanent grade for the course.
To officially withdraw from college, students must complete and sign a withdrawal form, available in the Registrar’s Office, and must meet all their financial obligations to the college.
Students must file an appeal within 60 days of the date grades were due for that semester. Grades can be appealed by following the procedure outlined in Brazosport College Administrative Regulation EGAR (Local).
