CLU students come from all backgrounds - religions, clutures and values. Every single interaction I've had with the school has been so friendly and inviting; I really feel as if I am part of the community. Anyone can attend this school because its very diverse and everyone gets along great!
If you like to party hard you shouldn't attend this school. California Lutheran University is a dry campus. Students do have parties off campus but most students find activites on campus that are fun without involving alcohol.
We promote conservative ideals in accordance with the GOP, but are inclusive to all who are interested in discussing Republican politics. Activities include volunteer work in our local community, issue advocacy, and other activities deemed relevant by the members of the organization.

During the Spring and Fall terms, the drop/add period falls within the first 8 days of the term.
Withdrawing from a course: Tuition and fees are prorated and a “W” grade is received.
Withdrawals can have financial aid and monetary impacts on your account whereas a drop will not .
Summer & Winter drop/add periods will be prorated depending on the length of the course. Please refer to our Summer College webpage for the specifics regarding the summer/winter terms.
If a student drops a class by the last day to add/change registration for a full semester course, their tuition will be calculated based on actual enrollment on the last day to add/change registration for full semester courses.
If a student withdraws before the first day of class, room charges will be refunded at 100%. If a student withdraws after these dates, the student will not receive any refund for their room.
Full-time tuition for Fall 2020 will be evenly divided amongst the modules that a student participates in. If a student starts during the September-Term, the tuition will be divided into thirds (September-Term, Q1 and Q1). If a student starts during the Fall Semester, the tuition will be divided in half to include Q1 and Q2.
