What is a Three-Point Turn? The three-point turn is a way of turning a vehicle around in a small space by going forward, turning to one side, then backing up, turning in order to face the other direction, then going forward again. This type of turn is usually done when the road is too narrow for a U-turn.
To earn your learner's license in the state of Florida, you must pass the Florida learner's permit test, officially known as the Class E Knowledge Exam. If you are under 18, you can take the exam online using your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. However, a parent is required to be present during your exam.
Each state has different rules and restrictions on how you can receive your certificate. To view the options for your course, log into your I Drive Safely account.
Depending on when you purchased your course, there are two options for how you can view your e-certificate.
To view approval, select your state from our state selector on the desired course page and look for the state approval seal on the state page. You can also consult your court for further information about approval.
Because the laws regarding defensiv e driving courses vary from state to state – and even from court to court – you’ll want to be sure that you ask the court that’s handling your traffic violation about local driver improvement program policies and procedures.

Earning your Texas drivers license as an adult is a cinch – it’s easy at 1-2-3.
If you’re between the ages of 18-24, the state of Texas requires you to take a drivers ed course before applying for a Texas drivers license. With I Drive Safely’s 6-hour Texas Adult Drivers Ed course, you can earn your license the easy way with a fully online curriculum, 24/7 access, and the freedom to study when, where, and how you want.
After you take our 6-hour drivers ed course, you’ll need to pass our final exam: 30 multiple-choice questions on road signs and rules. Don’t stress – you have 3 attempts to get a passing grade (70% or higher).
Make a road test appointment at your local DPS office. If you’re 18-24 years old, you will be required to present your completion certificate, and pass vision and hearing exams before taking your road test. Remember, if you’re a Texas adult 25 or older and have not taken a drivers ed course, you are required to take a written exam as well.
