TNCC is not a difficult course. Remember it is Trauma Nursing Core Course. You will learn the core or foundational elements of caring for the trauma patient. I find most people like the course.

TNCC Verification — a certificate valid for four years — will be issued by the Emergency Nurses Association to individuals successfully completing the minimum requirements.
2-dayThe TNCC program is an intense 2-day trauma assessment and management course designed for nurses. The program consists of online pre-course lecture review, a pre-test, course lecture information, skills stations, and both a written and patient care evaluation station.
The written test is an online, open book test with a 2 hour time limit. You are allowed 2 attempts. The online post exam MUST be completed within 7 days of the course. Upon successful completion, ENA will send a link to the student for their TNCC card.
All registrations are final. If you cancel or do not attend the class you have registered for, you will forfeit your entire course fee.

In order to receive TNCC certification, you must be a Registered Nurse. All other licensed personal will only receive Continuing Education Units for the course. Certification will be issued from ENA upon successful completion of the evaluated psychomotor skill station and the multiple choice examination.
The ENA recommends a 30-day registration cut off time to give participants enough time to prepare. The online modules take approximately 3 – 6 hours to complete. The following pages will walk you through the procedure for completing the modules and testing.
A card verifying the successful completion of the ENPC Provider Course will be issued to the RN along with a certificate for 19.2 continuing education contact hours (CECHs). Verification remains current for four years.
