Admitted undergraduate students who first enrolled before Summer 2020 will use the continuing undergraduate student tuition and fees tables.
Books can be checked out for up to 24 hours at a time (depending on instructor) and videos may be borrowed for up to 3 hours.
For students in a tuition cohort, the institution guarantees tuition and total administrative mandatory fees will be the same for the five-year period that extends from the summer term that begins the definition of the cohort and ends with spring term, 20 terms later ( see table below ). Similarly, rates for each administrative mandatory fee will be locked for the five-year period.
Because the fixed-tuition guarantee is for five years, non-military exceptions will rarely be granted.
Students from a tuition cohort who are accepted to and enroll in a graduate program are no longer in their tuition cohort and will pay graduate tuition as described below.
Differential tuition is included in this guaranteed tuition structure. Laboratory and course fees are not included in the guaranteed tuition structure.

The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) coordinates a graduate exchange program, the Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP), to enable students from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming to apply for admission to selected professional programs and, if admitted, to be treated as resident students for tuition purposes.

General Fee: The general fee is a required component of tuition, and it provides funding for non-instructional student services . The fee is charged to every student who is enrolled in at least one class.
Program Fee: The program fee is a required component of tuition. This fee is program-specific, and it provides funding for educational components of the program. Student Legal Service: The Center for Legal Services is a law office for Ohio University students. Two licensed attorneys provide students with legal representation, advice, and education. CSLS also provides contract reviews, mediation services and notary service. There is no limit on the number of times students can use the service during the term. Every Athens campus student is automatically enrolled for this service at registration for the term. The waiver option and waiver deadline will be available on your My OHIO Student Center once your registration charges have been assessed for the term. A waiver is required once each term.
Technology Fee: This required fee is based on the student's college. This fee supports instructional technology used in student labs and classrooms.
