Supervised sessions: When the course room is unlocked anyone can join the session at any time. Instructors don't have to be present for students to join the session. If you don't want students to join a session unsupervised, lock the course room and create scheduled sessions.
On the Courses page, instructors can control availability for the courses that they teach. Point to a course card and select the lock icon to change a course's availability. You can also change course availability on the Course Content page. When you change the availability of an open course, you can either make the course private or complete the course.

Courses may not appear in the My Courses module in Blackboard for a few reasons: The instructor has not yet published the course for student view (most common reason). The student has not yet successfully registered and paid for the course. There may be an issue with the student's enrollment.

Log into Blackboard Learn and enter the course. In the Course Management menu under Customization, click Properties. Under Set Availability, check the radio button next to "Yes" for Make Course Available. Click the Submit button.
It takes 24 hours for student courses to reflect in Blackboard. For your information, if you have registered for the course in the past day, please give the system 24 hours to add you into the Blackboard course.Jan 15, 2021
To show a hidden course, filter the list by Hidden from me > open a course's menu > select Show course.
The course menu is the panel on the left side of the interface that contains links to all top-level course areas. Instructors can also provide links to the tools page, individual tools, websites, course items, and module pages. Instructors control the content and tools available on the course menu.
The colors map to these percentages: > 90% = green. 89–80% = yellow/green. 79–70% = yellow.
If you would like to return to a previous page in the Blackboard classroom, you can use the breadcrumb trail at the top of your classroom. Open a course card's menu to change your course availability. You can also change your course's status on the Course Content page. You can make your course private while you add or experiment with content, and then open it to students when you're ready.
To edit the course view for a specific course, edit the course settings. Go to Courses on the Admin Panel and search for the course you want to edit. In the list of results in the Course View column, you can see the view for each course. In the course's menu, select Edit, and then choose the course view.
When you create a course, Blackboard Learn requires only two course properties: a course name and a course ID. However, several other course properties control important aspects of courses, such as when they're available.
Course themes add a background image to the course display and change the color of the user interface, including the course menu, buttons, and controls. The theme can be changed again at any time. Applying a theme doesn't affect course content or a chosen course structure.
A complete course is in a read-only state. Enrolled students can open the course and access the course content as normal, but are not able to interact in the course, such as participate in discussions or submit assignments.
You may find it most useful to bulk delete course materials at the end of a course. You can select the materials you want to delete and keep the rest for use in the future. For example, you can delete students and grades from a course, but keep the content.
At this time, the Complete Course option is only available for the Ultra Course View. Only instructors can set a course to complete from the Courses page. Administrators can control course availability from the Administrator Panel, but can't mark a course as complete in this area.
