Coursework. Coursework is work performed by students or trainees for the purpose of learning. Coursework may be specified and assigned by teachers, or by learning guides in self-taught courses.
Course work from institutions that are not regionally accredited will not be transferred. Coursework that is remedial or vocational/technical in nature will not be transferred. Transfer grades and credits are not computed within the cumulative GPA earned at CSU.

Can I transfer to the UC/CSU and continue taking general education courses at the community college? Students can attend the university and the community college simultaneously.
Generally, CSU campuses urge transfer students to complete all lower-division general education and pre-major courses prior to transferring. If you're unsure of your major, concentrate first on completing lower-division general education requirements. These courses are transferable and meet admission requirements.

CSU does not require ACT or SAT test scores. Our review process is individualized, includes a range of academic and personal factors and emphasizes students’ efforts and achievement demonstrated over 3-4 years. All students have the same access to admission and scholarship review whether or not they submit scores.
Transfer applicants must submit an official college transcript from each college attended, regardless of the type of institution, amount or type of credit earned, and age of the credential , even if the work will be reflected in transfer on another transcript.
