Course Selection Information. Course selection is made through Skyward Student Access and opens on the first of February annually during the current school year. Students have two weeks to enter their selections into Skyward. Selections being made are for the following school year. Course Selection Worksheets.
Click on the course under Available Courses and click Add Course. If this course is a yearlong course Both first and second semester courses will be automatically requested. To remove a requested course highlight the course and click remove course. Continue selecting courses until you reach the a total of 7.0 credits.

If your student is a current FBISD student, and you do not already have access to Family Access, contact your child's campus. If you are new to FBISD, you will be granted access to Family Access when you enroll your student through the online registration process.

Fitness Assessment. The Texas Education Code (TEC) §38.101 states that a school district must annually assess the physical fitness of students enrolled in grade 3 through 12 in a course that satisfies the curriculum requirements for physical education under TEC §28.002 (a)(2)(C).
Aerobic fitness dance, recreational dance, and dance forms including ballet, folk/ethnic, jazz, tap, precision, hip hop, lyrical, and modern will challenge the students to employ both fine and gross motor skills. Students receive a brief historical overview of dance.
This course requires all students to (1) travel to a central district location twice a week during the seminar portion of the course, (2) spend a minimum of 5 hours per week at the mentorship site, and (3) plan, complete and present a final product at a public forum at the end of the year.
This course offers the opportunity for students to receive high school and college credit in U.S. History. It is a rigorous program taught at the college level and a study from the colonial period through current U.S. History.
