Allstates signature slogan has always been “Your’e in Good Hands,” but by introducing the character “Mayhem,” the brand is now more relatable and personable and provides unaided awareness of the insurer’s brand.
Allstates previous campaign “Our Stand” was targeted to an older and more traditional demographic. However, by having Dean Winters as the main character for this new campaign it portrayed the 1992 character Mr. White from reservoir dogs.
The goal of the campaign is to build awareness about organ donation and to increase the amount of Pennsylvanians signed up as organ donors. In order to evaluate and measure the success of the campaign, we will first, measure new organ donor designations based on location. We will also measure the impressions, website conversion funnels such as website traffic, earned media impressions and engagement rates on each social media platform.
The message of the #HaveALittleHeart hashtag is to emotionally appeal to the audience during the holiday season— nobody likes a Scrooge, so have a little heart and sign up to be someones hero, an organ donor. The message of the second hashtag #BestGiftofAll is to assert that aside from all of the materialistic gifts that will be given during the holidays, the best gift of all is the gift of life. This message will urge the public to sign up to be organ donors— What gift would you choose? A nice diamond necklace from a loved one, or the gift of the ability to live a long life?
