Once logged into Canvas, click on the left navigation bar and choose “Courses” just under the link to the Dashboard. On the “Courses” fly-out menu, you’ll see the same courses you’ve seen on the Dashboard. At the bottom, choose “All Courses.”

A course site isn't visible to students until the instructor manually publishes the Canvas site. If the semester/term has already started and you are definitely registered for the course, contact your instructor and ask them to publish the course. You may have previously set your Courses List to show other courses.
After you have added the course to one of the two worksheets, your enrollment will be processed in up to 2 hours. Check back after 2 hours to ensure that the course is listed on your Dashboard page.
Students may add courses without administrative approval through the "official last day to enroll" via MyView, or in person. To view the official last day to enroll, visit the semester calendar page. Use Schedule Planner to find your ideal schedule.

Unlock a course To unlock a Canvas course after the term has ended: Navigate to the course you want to unlock, and from the course navigation menu, select Settings. After the page automatically refreshes, your course will be unlocked, and the course end date will be set to one month from the current date.
When a course's events and assignments are hidden the color display in gray. Click again to display the events again. Each student also has a personal calendar as well. The colors associated with a course can be changed by clicking the three dots next to the course title.

To access MyCoursEval, be sure you follow the UMSL link and use your SSOID to sign into MyCoursEval. Here, students can take surveys, retake closed surveys, and see open/completed surveys.
You will need to obtain and activate your Single Sign On (SSO) ID to access your accounts and log into the computers in the campus labs.
