There are many web browser settings that can affect how courses launch. Here are some steps you can take to ensure your experience is not interrupted: Step 1: Verify that your "pop-up blocker" is not blocking the course. Step 2: Verify that your "Java Script" is set to enabled.
Departments can drop you if you do not meet course requirements. If you register for a summer A/B/C course that is a prerequisite for a course you wish to take in the fall, you must wait until the following business day to add the fall course.
Print a copy of your schedule each time you register. During the first three weeks of advance registration and throughout the online drop/add period, the UF regulates the registration system by utilizing assigned start times for registration sessions.
Please contact the UF Computing Help Desk at 352-392-4357 or via e-mail at [email protected] if you need assistance. How do I create my course in UF e-Learning? To request a Registrar Canvas course as a faculty member, instructors should use the "Canvas Course Request" module located in ONE.UF.
“Withdraw” means to remove all classes from your current schedule. A “W” will be posted on your transcript for dropped or withdrawn classes. A “W” grade does not affect your grade point average. Students are allowed two drops in the first 60 hours of enrollment at UF, and two additional drops after 60 hours.
Students may not use this one-time-only allowance to subsequently repeat a passed course again after having repeated the same course for reasons noted in i) above. i.e. they may repeat a specific passed course only once.

Students from the waitlist are notified and add themselves. Students drop themselves from the waitlist. Students fail to enroll themselves during the allotted time and are removed from the waitlist systematically. The waitlist process will end the day prior to the last day of drop/add for the term.
If you failed a course then you can retake it for credit. The failed grade will not be removed or averaged; rather both the failed grade and the new grade are calculated into the GPA and included on your academic transcript.
Retaking a course may raise your student's GPA (grade point average). In many schools, if a student retakes a course, the most recent grade will replace the lower grade in the student's GPA. The earlier, lower grade will remain on the transcript, but will not be included in the GPA.

Students register for courses via ONE. UF, the Integrated Student Information System. On ONE. UF, you can complete the Registration Prep process, determine your registration start time, and access your degree audit which outlines all of your degree requirements.
Advance Registration is the period of time during which students register for upcoming semesters.
According to a 2019 survey from the National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), 43 percent of four-year colleges reported using a waitlist in 2018. Of all the students who accepted a position on the waitlist at these colleges, 20 percent were admitted.
At UF, we do not wait-list applicants, but this does not mean that all dreams of joining The Gator Nation have ended. There are still opportunities to join our campus as an upper-division transfer student or by applying to one of our excellent graduate or professional programs in the future.
Getting on a college waitlist means that an applicant has all the necessary qualifications and has been fully reviewed by an admissions counselor. However, the school could not offer them a letter of acceptance at that time.

I just had a prof in my Uber that said they were at about 50% confidence campus would remain open for very long after classes start back. They also said that they are not allowed to suggest wearing a mask to students, or really even mention masks or vaccines in classes.
No concrete COVID plan, email after email contradicting each other, some rumors of an expected outbreak forcing us all online. I cannot believe this. The beatings will continue until morale improves I suppose.
