Good school, lots of opportunities, lots of scholarships and grants too. Has an amazing online program which helps students like me. No real campus life/parties of course. Parking is a PAIN and needs to be addressed. Other CCBC campuses are a little nicer in terms of modern design but it's fine. Good food, clean, nice people.
CCBC OVERALL HAS A DEDICATED STAFF OF PROFESSOR'S WHOM SEEM TO CARE ABOUT TEACHING. I'VE ONLY HAD ONE BAD EXPERIENCE, IN SHORT SHE WOULDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT SHE WAS TEACHING. ITS GOOD TO SAY AFTER BRINGING THIS TO THE ATTENTION OF THE SCHOOL, I HAVEN'T SEEN HER ON THE CLASS REGISTRATION THE NEXT SEMESTER.
For a community college, CCBC at Essex is well above average. They seem to have all the bases covered, from arts and humanities, science and technology, medical fields. They seem to have a friendly atmosphere, and most of the professors are very knowledgeable about the fields they are teaching.
