Kyle Schulze: The Deaf Ninja always inspires, but he hasn’t reached the buzzer yet in his career and it’s an emotional goal for him. Kyle is teaching Jessie Graff ASL and she was on his sideline to lend support. Kyle gutted through the jerks of Double Down and made his way safely across Log Runner.
Those teammates were Jimmy Choi and Kyle Schulze. Michael lost that Power Tower race.
This was just fast versus fast. Both of these Colorado competitors are relentless. This was the definition of anyone’s game. With the final Safety Pass of the season on the line.

So the grand finale of Australian Ninja Warrior was a bit of a bust hey. If it makes you feel better, the course has only ever been successfully completed 7 times in 31 seasons, so the chances of crowning a winner were always looking pretty grim.
In 20 years and 32 seasons, the world has seen six people complete the final course (Yuuji Urushihara did it twice). Four of them are from the Ninja Warrior homeland, Japan, and two from the US of A. Check them out:
Akiyama is a crab fisherman and massage therapist. When he won he was absolutely freakin ripped, weighing 56kg at 161cm tall, with only 5.8 per cent body fat. Hot dayum.
Posted by Yuuji Urushihara (漆原裕治) on Tuesday, 13 September 2011. Urushihara is a shoe salesman who trained to qualify for the show for five years. It paid off and he is still the only person to have ever finished the entire course twice. On his second win he even had 6.71 secondds to spare. Niceeeeee.

Season 13 is off and running with the teens taking the lead. Just like that, we’re back, baby! American Ninja Warrior returned for its 13th season and things are off and running right out of the gate. Literally. The teen competitors came in hot and made a clear statement that they won’t be heading home soon.
Elijah Browning: Elijah loudly announced the arrival of the teens to the leaderboard when the ANW Jr alum cruised through the course. He took the Spinning Log and never looked back. After a perfect trip across V Formation, he bounced up the Warped Wall to take the title of the youngest Ninja to hit a buzzer (so far).
She took off season 12 to focus on her mom, who had cancer. Barclay’s mom, Eva, did pass away and this run was clearly heavy for her. With all her Ninja friends on the sidelines, Barclay made a strong start on the Shrinking Steps, only to peel off the bar of Overpass.
Daniel Gil: Last but not least, the season 12 winner closed things out with the biggest surprise of the night. Daniel has only fallen on a course outside of the National Finals once before and it looked like he was there to do what he does best: Hit buzzers.
This software engineer won Sasuke at 23 years of age, making him the youngest person to complete the course (and also proving beyond doubt that geeks can pack serious muscle). He first attempted the course at the age of 15.
But the odds are against them: across a total of 31 seasons to air in 19 countries, only six people have ever completed the final Ninja Warrior course. Four are from Japan, two are from the US. The final obstacle is also one of the most basic: a 22-metre rope called Mount Midoriyama.
Each contestant has to climb to the top and press a buzzer within 30 seconds.
YUUJI URUSHIHARA. The Japanese shoe salesman is the only person to have completed the course twice, even though it took him five attempts to qualify for the show. He tried the course 13 times and had success on his fourth attempt in 2010 before repeating the feat in 2011.
