Canvas course evaluations can be accessed by going to the COURSE EVALUATIONS space within Canvas. Go to a Canvas course in the left-hand menu and click on COURSE EVALUATIONS.

Online Course Questionnaire (OCQ), sometimes called Course Questionnaire or Online Course Evaluation, is available for online course evaluations at all Indiana University campuses except IU Fort Wayne and the IU School of Medicine. Students and instructors can access Course Questionnaire within Canvas.
Students
Within Canvas, navigate to any course you're enrolled in at one of the campuses using OCQ. In the course navigation menu, click Course Questionnaire. If a course questionnaire is available for you, you'll be directed there; if not, you'll see "There are no course questionnaires available at the moment."
Instructors
Within Canvas, navigate to any course you're teaching at one of the campuses using OCQ.
What is ODL FSU?
At FSU, student feedback matters. Faculty and administrators rely on feedback to improve courses, programs, and teaching methods. The Office of Distance Learning (ODL) administers course evaluations in accordance with Faculty Senate course evaluation policy and provides online access to survey results.
Can instructors customize SPCI?
During a pre-defined window, instructors are free to customize the electronic version of the SPCI by adding questions specific to their course. (If you’re an instructor adding custom questions, you’re the only one who can view responses for those questions.) Course evaluation coordinators may also add custom questions on behalf of their college or department.

How to submit a course evaluation?
Online Course Evaluation Instructions 1 After clicking IDEA Course Evaluations, you will need to type your SharkLink ID under Username and your SharkLink password to sign in. 2 If the course evaluation is open, you can click the Start button to access the evaluation or Continue to finish it. Then you can click the Submit button to submit your evaluation.
What happens if a course is closed?
If the course status says " Closed " then you are no longer able to evaluate it. The Help Desk, nor the instructor, can reopen the evaluation to you. Be sure to click Submit your Evaluation to save and submit your evaluation. To clear all responses, click Reset the Evaluation. You will be returned back to the menu.
