When is priority registration for 2021?

Priority registration is awarded to continuously enrolled students who have been admitted to a program as of Spring 2021 or prior. Assignment is determined based on credit hours completed. Early registration for eligible students with 35 or more credit hours begins Monday, March 29.

When is spring semester 2022 due?

The enrollment due date for Spring Semester 2022 is Friday, October 29, however, students may submit an enrollment application and residency determination until Tuesday, January 4. Note that late enrollment may not allow for sufficient processing time of documents and financial aid, so students should be prepared to pay for tuition, fees, and books independently during registration. How to challenge a grade in a course?

A student who wishes to challenge an academic grade given in any course must initiate the challenge by submitting a written request, including the basis of the challenge, to the course instructor by the end of the semester following the term in which the grade was received. Spring grades may be challenged until the end of the next fall semester. If the student is not satisfied with the instructor's written response and ultimate decision, the student may appeal that decision to the Program Manager/Director, in writing, within seven (7) days of the instructor's decision. The Program Manager/Director will meet with the student and instructor, discuss the written challenge and review any documentation, including coursework and exams, necessary to render a decision. If the student is not satisfied with the Program Manager/Director's written decision, the student may appeal the decision to the Workforce Development and Community Education (WDCE) Division Director by submitting a written request within seven (7) days which shall include a copy of the instructor's and Manager/Director's decision. The final investigation of the challenged grade and subsequent decision rests with the WDCE Division Director, who shall notify the student, program manager and instructor in writing of the final determination. Once a student has challenged a grade through this process, all academic appeals have been exhausted. No other College process may be utilized to challenge that specific grade or decision.

How to get transcripts from a college?

A transcript is a record of all courses for which a student has registered. A copy of this record may be obtained from the Registrar's Office at the Campus . Open Enrollment. A student is enrolled upon receipt of payment, provided there is space in the class. All programs require pre-registration and registration can be completed in person at each campus, via fax, phone or using the College online registration system.

Longer-term career training non-credit programs may require that program specific pre-enrollment and eligibility requirements be completed by each individual. Advanced standing for a non-credit course (s) does not exempt students from demonstrating college readiness. If the student's Accuplacer scores indicate that developmental course work is needed, the completed non- credit course (s) does not exempt them from the required developmental courses.

If you are completing this process to enroll in IDT G01, you only need to complete Step 1. If you are interested in courses that are part of the IDT Certificate Program, complete Steps 2 – 11. When will the LMS course be ready?

When you feel the course meets the LMS Minimum requirements, you will send an email to your chair – The expectation is that the course will be ready by Monday in Week 3 of the course. The chair will review the course to ensure the course meets the LMS Minimum Requirements and will document the results on the LMS Audit spreadsheet by the end of the training.

What is IDT G01?

IDT G01 prepares faculty to teach departmentally-developed courses at Delaware Tech. The IDT G01 course is designed to provide you with opportunities to learn and implement the skills needed to teach at the College. You will also demonstrate that your course meets the College’s Learning Management System Minimum Usage Guidelines.
