Asynchronous Class. Learning occurs independently online, on student’s own time with professor-designed content and lessons. Students are responsible for completing all required coursework on their own time. Students are still required to adhere to posted assignment deadlines and due dates.
IL, EDP, HUM – In this special topics course, students will explore representations of the body in short stories, poetry, literary nonfiction, medical narratives, monologues, and a graphic novel. Using disability studies, gender studies, and critical race theory as theoretical frames, students will practice in-depth analysis of texts and will consider the implications of the representations of diverse bodies on the reading audience, including medical providers, policymakers, and content creators in advertising, social media, television, and film.
Learning Communities pair two courses that are team-taught by two instructors. Students are automatically enrolled in both courses. In general, one credit is earned for each lecture period or 2 to 3 hours of laboratory per week.
You may repeat any course a maximum of two times. You may enroll in a class up to three times. You must inform the Kodiak Corner Student Services Center at the time of registration that you are repeating the course. Your most recent grade will be used to compute your GPA and your transcript will show that the course has been repeated. There are a few courses where you may, by re-registering, obtain additional credits and grade points. Check with your advisor to see which courses may offer this option. Please be aware that other schools and universities may treat repeated courses differently.
Academic holds are used to collect outstanding parking fines, library fines and obligations, or other financial debt to the college, Cascadia may: Refuse to enroll, drop, or withdraw classes as the college deems necessary.
A suspended student may petition for reinstatement to the College after a waiting period of at least one quarter (not counting summer quarter). The student must arrange for an appointment with an advisor at least four (4) weeks prior to the beginning of the quarter that the student wants to attend.
Suspended students will be blocked from registering. Students who enrolled for classes prior to suspension status will be administratively withdrawn, and tuition paid will be refunded. While suspended, students may not participate in events or activities reserved for students.
Federal and state financial aid regulations require colleges to set minimum standards for satisfactory academic progress and to hold students accountable for meeting those standards. Cascadia checks your academic progress before awarding aid, even if you did not receive financial aid in past quarters.

Once you have activated your account, you will be able to check your registration time, preview the class schedule, register for classes, and pay tuition.
