The Summer Session at the Lynch School offers courses and professional development offerings for BC and non-BC students. The dates for the 2022 Summer Session are listed below. Please note that some offerings occur outside of and across the session dates. Summer Session 1: May 18–July 1, 2022. Summer Session 2: July 6–August 19, 2022.
The first two courses are focused on the history and politics of bilingual education, and on theory and research in bilingualism and second language acquisition. The third and fourth courses move directly into instructional applications, specifically highlighting critical literacy and language arts teaching in bilingual education settings.

The Boston College Summer Term is open to non-BC students and BC students currently enrolled in the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences, Carroll School of Management, Lynch School of Education and Human Development, Connell School of Nursing, and Woods College of Advancing Studies. Our 100% online courses are open to international students.
Boston College Summer Session offers a wide variety of undergraduate courses, which run over two six-week sessions. Our courses are open to anyone with a high-school diploma or the equivalent, and no application is required to enroll.
Students may take no more than twelve credits in a single summer.
