Once payment is submitted the fee is non-refundable. Checks and money orders must be in US dollars, drawn on a US bank and must be made payable to “Montclair State University.” Payment must include the student’s CWID number to ensure credit to the student’s account.

Payment Methods: Once a payment plan is established, you must make payment online directly through the TouchNet Payment Plan Portal. Do not make payments directly to Montclair State University through mail or in person. Payment can be made online by electronic check or credit card.
15-16 credit hoursFull-time undergraduate students should earn 15-16 credit hours per semester. Special permission is required to take a Course Overload of more than 19 credit hours. To be considered a full-time student one must register for and continue active enrollment in at least 12 semester hours for the entire semester.

Montclair State University will offer a full range of in-person instruction, student services and events, and return to full occupancy in the residence halls, starting with the fall 2021 semester. Term invoices are mailed twice a month, on the 1st and 15th, to your Montclair State University email address. The invoice is an attachment to the message. All students must have an activated email address.
Post-dated check s ( checks with future dates) cannot be accepted. The Cashier’s Office is currently staffed Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Stop at the One Stop Shop counter, located in the College Hall Atrium, to inform a staff member you want to make a payment.
