You are required to bring a long sleeve shirt, and long, sturdy pants, shoes or boots that cover your ankle, and eye protection such as eye glasses, sunglasses or goggles. For the Total Control Beginner Riding Clinic you use our motorcycles, so leave yours at home.

Protective gear is required for all students, which includes a DOT-approved helmet (full-face recommended), motorcycle jacket and pants, gloves and boots that cover the ankles. Jeans and fingerless gloves are not allowed, but Kevlar jeans will be accepted.

Students should have the ability to balance and stabilize a two-wheeled motorcycle or bike. If it has been a long time since a student has ridden a bicycle or motorcycle, it is recommended that they practice riding a bicycle prior to class.
