Louisiana Engineering Ethics and Professional Conduct Every calendar year, you are required to complete 1 PDH credit in ethics, which means by the time you are ready to renew your license, you will have 2 PDH ethics credits. The details are outlined in Rule 3105 (A) (1).

Louisiana Physical Therapy Board CE Requirements ( Click Here ): §194. states that you need 30 hours of board-approved continuing education courses per biennial renewal period; 2 hours of Jurisprudence (live or online), 2 hours of Ethics, a minimum of 18 hours of Clinical, a maximum of 8 hours of Administrative.
Online/Home Study – not instructed in live time; may be through a DVD, website or selected readings. NOT mandatory; maximum 15 hours ; (in combination with webinar/live stream) Traditional/Onsite – a lecture and/or lab-based course in which the instructor is physically present. MANDATORY; minimum 15 hours.

Yes, CPAs who hold an Active CPA License are required to complete and report their CPE hours to the Board in order to maintain their CPA License. Louisiana CPAs who are “actively” licensed are not CPE exempt.
If you did not obtain the required CPE (including the required Board Approved Ethics Course), please submit a letter to the Board by December 31st explaining the reasons for non-compliance and include any supporting documentation.
