Reliability and Validity The Wechsler Adult Intelligence is a well-established scale and it has fairly high consistency. Over a two to twelve week time period, the test-retest reliabilities ranged from 0.70 (7 subscales) to 0.90 (2 subscales). Inter-scorer coefficients were very high, all being above 0.90.

What are two main differences between the Wechsler intelligence tests and the Stanford Binet test?

The Stanford-Binet does not include any test items designated as measuring a particular skill, whereas the WISC is composed of twelve subtests, each supposed to tap a specific ability, and it yields a separate verbal and performance intelligence quotient.

What kind of test is the WAIS?

The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale | Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV) is the most advanced adult measure of cognitive ability, based on recent research in the area of cognitive neuroscience and the theories and work of David Wechsler PhD. Guidance on using this test in your telepractice.

What is a criticism of the WAIS?

The Wechsler scales are widely used in the USA; however, they have been criticized for their low reliability with individuals with IQ scores less than 50, for being culturally biased, and for yielding lower scores with children who are culturally deprived (Kaplan et al., 1994).

Which intelligence test is the most accurate?

Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale In fact, the WAIS is perhaps the most trusted of all IQ tests for adults. The WAIS is designed for ages 16 and up. The most recent version of the test, the WAIS-III, takes about 60-75 minutes to complete. The WAIS focuses on two key areas: Verbal and Performance.

Is the WISC IQ test accurate?

Both the CAIDS-Q and the WISC-IV short form had high and comparable levels of predicting group classification (88% and 91% correct classification, respectively). Both methods would appear to offer clinicians and researchers an efficient and accurate means of identifying those who are likely to have ID.

What is the highest IQ score on the WAIS?

up for it?

I'm willing to compile all my relevant report card information along with available Olympiad reports from Pre-Nursery to 10th grade.

Anyone feel the same? Poor episodic and visual memory but other memory types (short term memory and semantic memory) are intact

Just took the test at mindcrowd.org and my performance is very poor, like 20% compared to 61% scored by population simliar to me. I tried several other "Pair Associative Learning" tests on Youtube and Milliseconds Inquisit and the result is simliar.

All report card information compiled

Nursery, 2nd and 9th grade report cards were lost . Olympiads and achievements will be uploaded later along with my own interpretation and memories. As promised.

How good is your memory?

Please try this test (~ 5 min). I think my memory is pretty shit, but I also think I did ok in this test. Me and another guy were writing about memory, cause he has pretty serious memory problems. We both sucked in a test he linked, but it was visual and verbal (as far as I remember lol).

Isolated associative learning memory loss

So I tried almost all cognitive tests which you can try at home as a result of dementia health anxiety. My working memory is good-ish, like 130+ on digit span both forward backward and in sequential order.
