To graduate with honors, students must meet the following minimum standards at the time of graduation: cum laude (3.5 GPA), magna cum laude (3.7 GPA) and summa cum laude (3.9 GPA). Students who are pursuing a magna or summa cum laude designation are also required to complete an honors thesis.

All UF applicants must have completed an equivalent of 8 to 10 credits of foreign language in high school or community college or by examination. American Sign Language (ASL) is accepted by UF as a foreign language.
