MCT versus the OSCE The OSCE tests you on a wider range of skills as against a test of merely answering multiple choice questions. That said, there are many who find the OSCE assessments easier than the MCT.

It is not cheap by any means, but you really get what you pay for. Having said that, I do believe it is possible to pass the QLTS without signing up for any such courses, but it will definitely be harder, and hopefully you will (unlike me) have more than just two weeks of preparation time.
So, I have been meaning to write about my QLTS experience for a while as a form of giving back to the online QLTS support community. As I prepared for my QLTS last year, I discovered that there was a lack of first-hand, non-sponsored information out there on how and the best way to prepare for the QLTS.
What LPC answered guides did you use? The core guide with all subjects in it or did you use the advanced criminal litigation guide?

The Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) provides an opportunity for lawyers from various countries around the world to qualify as solicitors in England and Wales . The scheme is administered by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales.
The MCT consists of 180 multiple choice questions, each with five possible answers. The assessment is divided into two periods of two hours and 45 minutes each, with 90 questions on each part.
