NLP is the study of excellent communication–both with yourself, and with others. It was developed by modeling excellent communicators and therapists who got results with their clients.

Communication is THE most important tool we possess to advance ourselves to where we want to be both professionally and personally, but learning how to do this is impossible without first understanding how the mind works. NLP is the study of excellent communication–both with yourself, and with others.
Used by the world’s leading minds, coaches, and business leaders, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is scientifically proven to reprogram, transform, and empower the brain to achieve more in life. This is achieved by understanding and adapting your neurological processes, language, and behavioral patterns to help reach your goals.
NLP was initially created in the 1970’s by Richard Bandler, a student of mathematics and gestalt therapy, and John Grinder, a Professor of Linguistics at The University of California Santa Cruz. They began modeling and duplicating the “magical results” of a few top communicators and therapists.
Taught by world renowned master NLP practitioner and NLP.com founder, Dr. Matt James, our Integrative NLP Practitioner online course will teach you the skills and knowledge you need to truly start living life to your highest potential.
NLP was initially created in the 1970’s by Richard Bandler , a student of mathematics and gestalt therapy, and John Grinder, a Professor of Linguistics at The University of California Santa Cruz. They began modeling and duplicating the “magical results” of a few top communicators and therapists. Some of the first people they studied included Hypnotherapist Milton Erickson, gestalt therapist Fritz Perls and family therapist Virginia Satir. Since then, many others have contributed to the growth and development of the field.
NLP co-founder Richard Bandler countersigns all our licensed practitioner certificates. This is an additional guarantee that you’re getting the very best NLP training.

As a 1:1 course this is based on one 1-hour session a week over 3 months.
Ideally, you will need about 20 days of full training over the course of a few months.
Finally, the least good option is an online non-interactive training, which will not be much better than just reading from a book and I’d personally avoid these courses.
Training people to effectively learn to use NLP clinically is equally extraordinary as interested and engaged students can learn to consistently reproduce these same kinds of therapeutic effects.
It takes a little research to find the right course, but it’s so worth it. Learning how to use NLP is one of the greatest things I’ve ever done in my professional and personal life, so if you’re interested in it, get to it, it is genuinely life-changing.
This doesn’t mean that all N LP trainings are bad at all, most are excellent. The same is true of the majority of experienced practitioners – after all, if you’re not very good or competent your practice is not likely to have longevity as your patients will vote with their feet. But it raises an important issue if you’re thinking about training in ...
I would also strongly recommend taking a course that has a clinical component – that’s not just working with the course members but working with members of the public with real issues under close supervision. Unfortunately, these kinds of longer courses with in-depth supervision naturally cost more than the short less interactive or simpler courses. However, if you want to invest in a practitioner training, you really only want to do it once, and you want to make sure you’ve made the best choice the first time.
Unfortunately, they’re right, NLP can only be judged on the quality of the practitioners currently claiming to practice it. So if too many people are poorly trained in NLP it lowers the general standards of NLP delivery and harms NLP’s reputation.
Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) is a fascinating field of study that people study to understand human behaviour, communicate more effectively with other people, and fast-track their personal development or professional growth.
The philosophy of NLP states that our perceptions, beliefs, emotions, behaviors, attitudes, and communication styles are linked to the results and outcomes we experience every day. At the practitioner level of neuro-linguistic programming, you will advance from learning basic concepts to utilizing NLP in all aspects of your professional or personal life.
The Academy of Modern Applied Psychology offers multiple certification programs, including Coaching, NLP, CBT, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy, Counseling, and Skilled Helping. Learners are prompted to take relevant notes (for self-reflection only).
HR experts, lawyers, teachers, business owners, students, IT managers, social workers and personal trainers often benefit from studying NLP. This program will benefit those eager to change their career and begin a coaching practice (full or part-time).
Psychology cannot teach people how to live life. Nevertheless, it is a tool for creating positive social and personal change. As the leading provider of online psychology education, the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology makes psychology-based education accessible, understandable, and relevant.
When you complete the NLP Practitioner training, you will receive a certificate that says you are a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-linguistic Programming. Each certificate will be printed with the iNLP Center seal of status, the International NLP Association logo, and any other applicable accreditation logo that you have selected and are qualified to receive.
The NLP Practitioner Training takes approximately 50 hours to complete. It is self-paced so you determine the amount of time each week that you spend completing it.
The purpose of neuro linguistic programming is to move from your present state (or mindset) if it’s useful to do so – to a more desired state in which you have more resources . NLP tools can help you accomplish that. Learn the three primary ways to do this.
The NLP live sessions are located in our Zoom classrooms where you interact via video and audio with your trainer and other students . The topics covered are determined by the students in attendance. Generally, they are based on the application of the NLP tools each student is working on. You are able to ask questions, do demonstrations with the trainers, and get advice on how to apply the NLP tools or models.
With the added bonus of our online, live training sessions, you are also able to work with our certified trainers in our online classrooms. This gives you the added ability to be taught the information and discuss what you are learning with them and other students. You can work on the material and participate in demonstrations. It’s the best of both formats without the travel, high costs, and inflexible schedule.
What is NLP? NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. ‘Neuro’ being your brain, ‘Linguistic’ the language we use with others and how that can influence their thinking and behaviour and our own self talk and how that impacts on our results.
NLP was created by John Grinder and Richard Bandler in the 1970’s. Their goal was to discover why some people produced excellent results, and then create models to allow other people to assimilate the process. Over the years many people were modelled and a host of techniques were developed.
