Engineering in the News! Gain a broad spectrum of civil engineering’s foundational principles with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from Liberty University. Here, you’ll develop practical and technical skills in Civil Engineering through lecture, laboratory, and field experiences.
BSCE students are required to complete 12 credits of Engineering and Science Elective coursework (CEE 400-level courses or non-CEE courses from a department-approved list). Included in these 12 credits, students must include a basic science course. See the BSCE Engineering and Science Electives list for complete details.
The BSCE focuses on construction, geotechnical, structural, and transportation technical areas. Through this degree, you’ll also sharpen your decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
During the junior year, students typically complete the BSCE 300-level Core Curriculum in a pre-arranged sequence of courses, called Track I or Track 2. In the senior year, students explore their areas of interest while taking courses to meet Technical Elective and Engineering & Science Elective requirements.
Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) is a four-year undergraduate program of the 2018 curriculum which aims to prepare aspiring educators who intend to teach in the secondary junior and / or senior high school basic education level.
five-yearThe Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) is a five-year degree program in the Philippines that is concerned with the use of scientific and mathematical principles in the construction of buildings and infrastructures such as roads, bridges, tunnels, dams, airports, and the like.
Cal Poly Pomona's Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program began in 1961, and has produced over 5000 graduates. The program included a strong background in engineering principles, with and emphasis on the application of these principles to practical civil engineering problems.
Essential Information. Undergraduate programs in civil engineering typically lead to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree; although, programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) are also available.

Civil engineering is hard. Civil engineering is harder than humanities and liberal arts majors but slightly easier than other engineering disciplines. Civil engineering is a difficult degree because it requires students to take several tough math courses, challenging technical classes, and multiple lab sessions.
A Bachelor of Engineering (BE or BEng) or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) is an academic undergraduate degree awarded to a student after three to five years of studying engineering at an accredited college or university.
Chemical engineering is one of the most broadly-based engineering disciplines. Its field of practice covers the development, design, and control of processes and products that involve molecular change, both chemical and biological, and the operation of such processes.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) is a four-year program that includes the study of computing concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, and new developments in computing.
Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate engineering degree of four year duration. The course deals basically with the design and development of transportation systems, buildings, bridges, highways, flyovers etc.
No after passing 12th from arts you can not get admission to civil engineering even not in any engineering. Because engineering is only for students who are from Science background. No after passing 12th from arts you can not get admission to civil engineering even not in any engineering.
Civil Engineers rank #1 in Best Engineering Jobs. Jobs are ranked according to their ability to offer an elusive mix of factors.
To fulfill the remaining BSCE degree requirements, students must complete a total of 10 courses (30 credit hours) from the four areas of specialization as follows: 8 courses (24 credit hours), consisting of a minimum of 2 courses (6 credit hours) from each of the four areas of specialization as breadth.
Rice students have an option to pursue the Master of Civil and Environmental Engineering (MCEE) degree by adding an additional fifth year to their four undergraduate years of science and engineering studies. Advanced Rice undergraduate students in good academic standing may apply to the MCEE degree program during their junior or senior year.
Chi Epsilon was organized to recognize the characteristics of the individual civil engineering deemed to be fundamental to the successful pursuit of an engineering career, and to aid in the development of those characteristics in the civil engineering student.
