What is an instructor?

The Refrigeration Technologies program teaches students electrical and mechanical principles with hands-on diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heating, cooling and refrigeration problems to prepare them to work as service and maintenance technicians.
What is welding specialist?
The Welding Specialist program prepares a graduate for entry level positions in structural, pipe and pipeline, and thin alloy welding. This intense program is primarily lab based and focuses on developing critical welding skills.
Is admission based on academics?
Admissions are solely based on academics and accomplishments, and no applicant is favored due to legacy or knowing someone who is associated with the program. Students are expected to achieve high marks during their high school career, and perhaps even lead a club or start their own business or nonprofit.

They go on to study at Stanford, Harvard, Yale, MIT, Princeton and are the recipients of every type of award and scholarship imaginable including Rhodes Scholars, Waterman Awards, and Simons Investigators. Anything is possible for our alums.
